What does MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® provide information about?

The MADE IN GREEN product label informs customers that their products have been produced under the strictest guidelines: - Safety in the workplace - Use of materials free of harmful substances - Transparent traceability of the product.

How can a product be traced?

The consumer can transparently trace back all production stages using a unique product ID or QR code. Scan the QR code on your product's hangtag or online on the product page and trace the entire production chain.

Requirements

The MADE IN GREEN by OEKO-TEX® label combines the requirements of OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 and STeP by OEKO-TEX® and requires compliance with the strictest social and environmental criteria.

STeP by OEKO-TEX® - Sustainable Textile Production

The STeP by OEKO-TEX® certification system comprehensively documents the entire textile value chain clearly and transparently with regard to sustainable and socially responsible production conditions. To ensure worldwide comparability, the STeP criteria apply uniformly around the globe.

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®

STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® is a globally uniform, independent testing and certification system for textile products. The tests for harmful substances are based on the intended use of the textiles. The more intensive the skin contact of a product and the more sensitive the skin, the stricter human ecological requirements must be met.

All Zimmerli of Switzerland products are certified in product class II for articles used close to the skin (underwear, bed linen, T-shirts, stockings, etc.) and are therefore free of harmful substances and harmless to health.
