The collection is inspired by wintry shores, staged in a globally unique web-based lookbook accessible to retailers and customers alike. Revolutionary is the possibility to pre-order and even personalize favorite pieces of the season after next as a private customer.
"The collection motto Winter Shores stands for the intense closeness between nature and Zimmerli of Switzerland," says Marija Kaspar, Head of Design. "The versatility and also the durability of the products are based on this connection - values that the whole world strives for in times of a pandemic." The assortment of lingerie, pajamas and loungewear, of iconic classics and contemporary colors and shapes, lays the foundation for very personal deceleration and enables carefree closeness between skin and nature.
Lookbook becomes Looksite
The cornerstone of the exclusivity of the new collection is the launch of the world's first digital and channel-independent lookbook from Zimmerli. The innovative virtualization of the limited-edition collection allows the sensory perception of the high-quality merchandise while protecting the environment. "We see that our new looksite easily replaces printed brochures and, in addition, with its numerous digital refinements, offers our business and private customers multiple added values," says Renzo Sigrist, Head of Marketing.
"Made for You" in local manufacture
One of the digital finesses, for example, is the possibility of individualization. In its Swiss manufactory, which combines state-of-the-art technology with traditional craftsmanship, Zimmerli can respond agilely to customer requests. Whether embroidered initials or personalized adjustments to color, collar shape and size - the new "Made for You" offer fulfills personal wishes in a customer-friendly way.
Pre-orders - now also for Zimmerli fans
Traditionally, lookbooks are only made available to retailers for the placement of their orders. Zimmerli has changed this. Now, private customers can also discover and pre-order their new favorite pieces well before the season starts. "Zimmerli has reinvented the lookbook, linking emotions with data: customers, retailers, influencers and, of course, the established lifestyle media can already see what will be hot the day after tomorrow. In addition, we know in advance which products are of high interest based on anonymous behavioral analyses and can thus optimize the utilization of our supply chain," says Managing Director Dr. Jànos Heé of Zimmerli of Switzerland.
