The new Zimmerli spring/summer collection 2021 lives the theme of sustainability
Zimmerli of Switzerland convinces with a fresh appearance and lived sustainability. The spring/summer collection 2021 dives into wonderful sea gardens and is a tribute to underwater nature. The collection captivates with shimmering surfaces, flowing shapes and unlimited creativity thanks to "mix & match" possibilities.
"The "Ocean Meadows" collection lays the foundation for the new Zimmerli look and feel. It underlines our commitment to sustainability," says Dr. Janos Heé, CEO Zimmerli of Switzerland. "Our reinterpretation of luxury includes the consistent fair and sustainable production of lingerie, pajamas and loungewear made from the finest materials for a comfortable feel against the skin." The collection's fabrics are developed with local suppliers who are strictly certified according to environmental and social practices. Over 80% of the added value is provided in Switzerland.
A tribute to underwater nature
Thus, the pristine beauty of nature, worthy of protection, becomes a source of inspiration for Zimmerli of Switzerland and literally flows into the Spring/Summer 2021 collection. The ocean with its fascinating, unique versatility is magnificently reflected in the shimmering surfaces and flowing shapes of embroideries, laces and prints. Inspired by the fascinating underwater life, jellyfish, aquatic plants and corals can be seen. Colors range from warm, summery pastel shades and ocean blue to subtle elegant dark tones and seductive "Summer Red". The print designs combine floral and marine images - which also adorn the Pureness line for men for the first time.
"Mix & Match" for unlimited creativity
Another new feature is that all qualities can be combined with each other to create individual looks. "Mix & Match" has become the central claim in the design and development process. "For our customers, completely new, creative possibilities open up. Not only the seasonal pieces can be freely combined with each other, but also our timeless Zimmerli Essentials," explains Laetitia Wollschlegel, Head of Product Management at Zimmerli of Switzerland.
Zimmerli of Switzerland is looking forward to receiving orders by mid-September 2020, with the delivery window starting mid-January 2021.
